The continuation of the Egyptian Mustafa Mohamed in Galatasaray, who plays with him on loan from Zamalek, is doubtful in light of the financial crisis that the Turkish team is currently experiencing.
Mustafa Mohammed, 24, joined Galatasaray in January 2021 on loan and the Turkish club has activated a buy clause and will have to pay the cost of the deal within a few days.
Despite the crisis that Galatasaray is suffering from, its vice-president Erden Timur has said that his club will pay Zamalek’s dues on time to enlist Mohammed’s services once and for all.
He added in statements released by the Turkish site Photo Mac: “We made a clause to buy the player in January and payment will be made early next July.”
He concluded by praising Mustafa Mohamed: “He is a young player of very great ability”, noting that reports indicate that the player has entered the circle of interest of a number of Italian and French teams.
