Hungarian Prime Minister: Europe has hit lungs with sanctions and is now suffocating

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that the sanctions policy did not live up to the desired expectations, and because of it, the European economy has shot in the lungs and is now suffocating.

Orban added in a radio interview: “The sanctions policy did not live up to expectations, but rather had the opposite effect of what was planned … I must say that at first I thought that we were only shooting ourselves in the foot, but now it turns out that the European economy has shot itself in the lungs, and now he is suffocating everywhere.”

Orbán advised anyone with a job and a job to appreciate it and stick with it because the European economy is expected to slow down in the coming months.

According to him, all international studies, analyzes and forecasts that he has seen confirm that due to the “combination” of the sanctions policy and the conflict in Ukraine, “the European economy has begun to shrink.”

Earlier, the head of the Hungarian government, Gergel Gojas, said that the EU economy “will face problems” if a ban on Russian gas imports is introduced.
