According to the latest external reports recently released by the Bank, the payment schedule for external debt and interest for Egypt showed that it is planned to pay about $17.6 billion over the next 2023, including $9.3 billion in the first half of the year. and 8.3 billion in the second half.

It is also planned to pay about $24.2 billion in 2024, including $10.9 billion in the first half and $13.3 billion in the second half.

Egypt also has to pay about $15.1 billion in 2025, including $9.3 billion in the first half and $5.8 billion in the second half.

The table also indicates that Egypt will pay about $16.8 billion in 2026, including $6.6 billion in the first half and $10.2 billion in the second half.

According to the latest data released by the Central Bank, Egypt’s external debt reached $157.8 billion at the end of March last year.
