The head of the Suez Canal Administration, during his speech at the opening of the Olympic Village of the Suez Canal Administration, said that the twin project in the Bitter Lakes included dredging of 74 million m3, with 40 percent completion and an increase in depth. a total of 72 feet.
He added that the project included improving the efficiency of 10 settling pools with the participation of 20 national companies, improving the efficiency of 4 settling pools, removing 6 km of sand and 10 national companies for the settling pool in the east of the canal. .
