Historic achievement… Syrian player reached the finals of the world billiards championship

Syrian billiards player Muhammad Al-Sufi has reached the final of the World Championship currently taking place in Poland, an unprecedented achievement for any Arab player.

Al-Sufi’s entry into the final came at the expense of China’s Wukong Lin, after beating him 11-6 in the semi-finals of the tournament.

The Syrian star also managed to knock out four-time world champion and fourteen-time European champion Austrian Albin Ushan from the quarterfinals of the tournament, defeating him with a score (11-8).

It is noteworthy that Mohamed Al Sufi is the owner of the individual gold medal in the 9-ball game at the West Asian Championships in billiards and snooker.
