Giant Freakin Robot’s “trusted and proven sources” say that Cavill has been removed from the remake. The team is now looking at Chris Hemsworth to play a part in the movie instead of him.
If the rumors are true, this will be the second time that one of the Hemsworth brothers has replaced Cavill. The actor from “Man of Steel” has left his role as Geralt of Rivia in “The Witcher,” and Liam Hemsworth is about to take over.
Fans worry Hemsworth won’t be a suitable replacement for Cavill in The Witcher, but they might like his brother more. We all agree that removing Cavill from the role is a shame.
