He revealed the reason for the appearance of the Zamalek star over a cup of tea during the match with the Algerian Belouizdad

Zamalek winger Syed Abdullah revealed the secret of the image that swept over him yesterday, Friday, between two halves of his team’s match against Algerian Belouizdad in the first round of the African Champions League group stage.

The Zamalek wing appeared in the picture with a cup in hand, and some interpreted it as tea, coffee, or something like that.

However, Syed Abdullah confirmed in statements to Cairo 24 that what he was drinking was effervescent “vitamin C” as he caught a cold and asked Zamalek’s doctor to get a drink so he could finish the match.

The Zamalek wing added that he accepts all the opinions that criticized him on this matter, but he enjoyed explaining the matter and explaining it to the fans.

He explained that if he wanted to drink tea or coffee or anything like that, he would do it between halves in the dressing rooms, not on the pitch, emphasizing that what he ingested was “vitamin C”.

The match ended with the defeat of Zamalek at home with a score of 1:0.

The Egyptian team, the league champions for the past two seasons, is in a phase of imbalance after a modest league record of late, as it has achieved a fruitless win in its last seven matches, the last of which was a humiliating loss to Farko. with three clean goals last Monday in the seventeenth stage, which led to its decline in the standings to fourth place.
