Kamala Harris, US Vice President Joe Biden, clarified her statements about plans to run Biden again for US President in 2024.
After saying earlier this week that “the president will run once and for all in 2024,” Harris clarified her statement by saying, “The president intends to run, and if he does, we will run together.”
Harris’ clarification that Biden intends to run, rather than that he is definitively running, reflects what the White House has been talking about on a regular basis about the president’s plans for 2024.
White House officials have said several times that Biden intends to run again in 2024, and the president himself has previously said he plans to run again if his health permits.
