Haaland made history after tripping Manchester City

Manchester City drew a tasteful 1-1 defeat to Aston Villa in a match that brought them together tonight, Saturday night, in the sixth round of the English Premier League football.

Norwegian star Erling Haaland gave Manchester City the lead with a 50th-minute goal, while Jamaican striker Leon Bailey responded to the home team’s equalizer in the 74th minute at Villa Park.

The 22-year-old Halland raised his tally to 10 goals and solidified his position on the throne of the Premier League’s top scorer.

Haaland became the second fastest player to score 10 goals in Premier League history, tied with Mickey Quinn, according to Sky Sports.

While Manchester City have been content with an orphan point after their second draw of the new league season, down from four wins, and sit second in the league table with 14 points, two points behind Manchester United’s guest Arsenal United tomorrow night, Sunday, after these matches are over.

On the other hand, Aston Villa increased their score to four points and moved up to seventeenth place in the standings.
