Russian football club Sochi has announced the signing of former Belgian defender Standard Malian Moussa Sisako hours before the 2022 summer transfer market closes.

The official website of the Sochi club states that 21-year-old Moussa Sisako will wear the number 4 shirt, without mentioning any details of the terms of the contract.

The Russian club reported that Sisako began his career for his country last year and played four matches with him.

Moussa Sisako started his football career with the French team Racing Columbus in 2006 before joining the Paris Saint-Germain academy in 2012, who defended their colors for a period (from 2017 to 2020) and appeared in 24 games, scoring one Goal.

The financial defender then moved to Standard Liege on a six-month loan with an option to buy in 2020, and at the end of the season the deal was made permanent at €400,000.

Moussa Sissako defended the colors of the Belgian team in 34 matches in which he scored one goal.
