"Gazprom" Russia increases supplies of blue fuel to Italy

The Russian company Gazprom will increase natural gas supplies via the Nord Stream 1 route to the Italian energy group Eni after the resumption of gas pumping along this route.

According to the Italian company, from Thursday the Russian company will increase gas supplies from 21 million to 36 million cubic meters.

Today, the pumping of natural gas through the Nord Stream 1 highway has been resumed after the completion of previously scheduled repairs. According to Nord Stream AG, which operates the pipeline, 40% of its total capacity is being pumped.

Gas pumping through Nord Stream 1 (the gas pipeline between Russia and Germany, laid along the bottom of the Baltic Sea) was stopped from July 11 to July 21 due to periodic preventive maintenance.

In this regard, Gazprom announced that it continues to pump natural gas to Europe through Ukraine on a regular basis and in the required volumes in the amount of 42.2 million cubic meters.
