"Gazprom" Russia cuts off gas supplies to "Eni" Italian

Russia’s Gazprom said it would cut natural gas supplies to Italy, coinciding with the suspension of supplies to Europe via Nord Stream 1 for maintenance.

The Russian company said it will cut its natural gas supply to 20 million cubic meters per day from 27 million cubic meters per day starting today, Wednesday.

Today, the Russian company Gazprom has suspended the pumping of gas from Russia to Europe through the Nord Stream 1 gas pipeline for 3 days due to the need to maintain a large pumping station on the pipeline.

Earlier, Moscow confirmed that technical obstacles due to Western sanctions prevent the operation of Nord Stream 1 at full capacity, and stressed that these measures are irrational and interfere with work.
