Gazprom resumed gas supplies to China through "Siberian power" After completion of repair work

Today, Gazprom will resume deliveries of Russian gas via the Power of Siberia gas pipeline to China after the completion of preventive maintenance.

According to the agreement between Gazprom and the Chinese company CNPC, preventive maintenance of the equipment and systems of the Power of Siberia is carried out in the spring and autumn of each year.

Repair work on the gas pipeline was carried out from 22 to 29 September.

Russian gas pipeline deliveries to China exceeded daily contract volumes and grew by 60% between January and August 2022.

The Power of Siberia is a gas pipeline designed to pump natural gas from the fields of the Russian Far East to China; deliveries through it to China began on December 2, 2019.
