"Gazprom" Pumps gas to Europe through Ukraine in the agreed volumes

Today, Sunday, Gazprom spokesman Sergey Kupriyanov said that the company is pumping natural gas from Russia through Ukraine to Europe with a confirmed volume of 42.4 million cubic meters.

Kupriyanov told reporters: “Gazprom is pumping Russian gas for its transportation through the territory of Ukraine in volumes confirmed by the Ukrainian side through the Sudga checkpoint, at the level of 42.4 million cubic meters. “crossing, it was rejected.”

On May 11, Ukraine announced that it would stop receiving gas for transportation to Europe through the Sukhranovka checkpoint, noting that it was located on territory controlled by the Russian armed forces. As a result of this decision, the only gas transit point remains, which is the Sudzha checkpoint. For its part, Gazprom stated that the transfer of all volumes to the Sudzha checkpoint is technically impossible, noting that it fully fulfills all its obligations to European consumers, and transit services are fully paid.
