Gay pride parade in Norway was canceled after a shooting incident left the country’s capital, Oslo, dead and injured

The organizers of the Pride gay pride parade, which was due to take place in the Norwegian capital Oslo on Saturday afternoon, said it was canceled following a shooting incident outside a gay bar last night.

March organizers wrote on Facebook: “All activities related to Oslo Pride have been canceled” following “clear” recommendations from the police, AFP reported.

Earlier, police said they were investigating the shooting, which killed two people and injured at least 14, as a “terrorist attack.”

Local media reported that the incident occurred at the London Pub, a gay club located in the heart of the Norwegian capital.
