AC Milan inflicted a touching 3-2 defeat on their neighbor and main rival Inter Milan in the Anger Derby that brought them together tonight, Saturday, in the fifth round of the Italian Football League.
Portuguese striker Rafael Liao scored two goals for the Rossoneri, first and third, in the 28th and 60th minutes, while fellow French striker Olivier Giroud scored the second in the 54th minute.
The Nerazzurri’s goals were scored by Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic and Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko, respectively, in the 21st and 67th minutes of the meeting, which took place at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium in the San Siro suburb of Milan.
Milan raised their score to 11 points and went to the top of the league, waiting for the results of the rest of the matches of this tour.
While the balance of Inter Milan stopped at 9 points and so far dropped to fifth place in the rating table.
