Paris Saint-Germain, French League champions, won the French Super Cup title by beating Cup champions Nantes 4-0 in a match that brought them together today, Sunday, in Tel Aviv.
The goals of the capital’s team were scored by Argentinean Lionel Messi in the 22nd minute, Brazilian Neymar in the 45th and 82nd minutes (from the penalty spot), Spaniard Sergio Ramos (57th minute).
This is the 11th time that Paris Saint-Germain have won the French Super Cup, which is a record.
The Super Cup match is the traditional season opener in France and usually brings together the league champion and the cup winner.
