Russian businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin, founder of the Wagner military company, invited Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to meet him at the front in the city of Artymovsk (Bakhmut) in the Donetsk Republic, if he has not already left.
Prigozhin said in an online video: “I was sitting at the headquarters in Pervomayka when they told me that Vladimir Zelensky had arrived. That is why I quickly advanced to the Bakhmut direction, now, with our 2S7M motorized artillery, we are ready to meet him at any moment. In doing so, we will decide where and why.”
In another video, he confirmed that he had not received any response, after which he gave the artillery crew the coordinates for the bombing.
Zelensky visited the city of Artyomovsky, which the Kyiv authorities call Pakhmut. According to Zelensky’s press secretary, the visit was short, and Zelensky quickly left the city.
It is noteworthy that Russian troops are besieging the strategic city of Artyomovsk in the Donetsk Republic from several directions.
