Founder of Wagner proposes joint venture in Africa, offers Blinken financial support.

The founder of the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozhin, wrote a letter to US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, in which he offered to finance a joint project in Africa.

Prigozhin’s message read: “After we began to actively engage in Africa with Wagner in 2017-2018, we were able to achieve impressive results in the field of security in all countries of our presence. Therefore, I suggest you support the efforts of Wagner Military to ensure security in Africa, and funding a new one, (Wagner Security Africa) where you can become one of the investors of the project and thus save the resources of American taxpayers.

The Russian businessman pointed out in a letter that most Africans do not trust the policies of France and the United States, so Prigozhin suggests focusing on the security that his project will provide. He also encouraged Blinken to develop the project in America if it proved successful in Africa.

“Please send your representative to discuss this issue,” he added in the letter.
