Today, on Tuesday, the Russian Ministry of Defense signed contracts for the supply of weapons and military equipment worth more than $8 billion during the Army-2022 International Military-Technical Forum.

Russian Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Krivoruchko said after the signing ceremony that at the Army-2022 forum government contracts worth more than 500 billion rubles (about $8.13 billion) were signed with enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex.

He added that 29 contracts have been concluded and 7 state contracts have been signed with 26 enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex, noting that the signing of this package of contracts is an important step in the implementation of the state arms program.

The Deputy Minister of Defense of Russia explained that more than 3,700 military units will be supplied to the Russian Armed Forces, and as a result of the implementation of these contracts, repairs and modernization of more than 100 units will be carried out.

The value of contracts concluded by the Russian Ministry of Defense today is close to the value of contracts concluded at the Army-2021 forum, but about two times lower than the results of the forum in 2020, when contracts worth 1.1 trillion. rubles were signed.

Contract for the supply of upgraded attack helicopters Ka-52M and Mi-28NM.

Contract for the supply of T-90M tanks and repair of T-80BV tanks.

– Contract for the supply of unmanned aerial vehicles “Orlan”, “Pacer” and “Eleron”.

Contract for the supply of S-500 air defense systems.
