For the Maghreb prayer.. The English club presents an initiative to its Muslim fans

Blackburn Rovers have announced the provision of a chapel for their Muslim fans to offer the Maghrib prayer at the team’s meeting with their counterpart Hartlepool United next Wednesday in the first round of English League competition.

Blackburn Rovers have made an official request to provide a chapel for Muslim fans for the team’s match against Hartlepool United, where the date of the match coincides with Maghreb prayer time.

The English club explained in a statement that the faithful can inquire about the location of the prayer hall in the stadium in order to offer prayers during the current season.

Blackburn had previously opened its stadium to Muslims for the Eid prayers before canceling the decision due to bad weather, setting aside a side garden for prayer at the stadium.

Blackburn Rovers lead the Premier League table with 6 points.
