First Nuclear Power Plant to be Built in Poland by American Company

Poland’s Climate and Environment Minister Anna Moskva told reporters Thursday that the American company Bechtel will be building Poland’s first nuclear power plant.

The minister added: “Today, another international nuclear energy company is joining the project. We are talking about the American company Bechtel, which will act as the executor of the project.”

She noted that the agreement was signed today in Warsaw.

According to the Polish Nuclear Power Development Program, the authorities of this country plan to equip the first nuclear power plant with PWR reactors.
