Finland readies 17th installment of military aid for Ukraine

Finnish Defense Minister Antti Kaikkonen said that his country is preparing a new military assistance package for Ukraine, taking into account the wishes of Kyiv.

“Finland delivered 16 packages of defense materials to Ukraine, and I was present at the 17th package, and at the meeting we received new information about Ukraine’s needs, and these wishes will be taken into account,” Kaikkonen told Finnish journalists after a meeting with the NATO Defense Ministry. ministers in Brussels.

He noted that the meeting in Brussels also discussed the increase in defense spending of NATO countries.

The “NATO” defense ministers’ meeting in Brussels was the first meeting in which Finland participated as a full member of the alliance.
