US Representative Scott Berry, who is close to former US President Donald Trump, said the FBI confiscated his phone a day after the Trump residence raid.
“The FBI confiscated his mobile phone,” Perry, a spokesman for Pennsylvania, said in a statement.
He added that earlier in the day, while traveling with his family, he was approached by three FBI agents, handed him a note and asked to hand over his mobile phone.
The confiscation of the congressman’s personal phone came a day after FBI agents searched Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida.
