Expert discloses the alarming scenario behind the vanishing of bathyscaphe Titan

Expert David Gallo said that the reason for the disappearance of the Titan submarine in the Atlantic Ocean could be the result of an explosion in the middle layers of the water.

In an interview with Sky News, Gallo ruled out that the accident happened at the bottom of the ocean, as he believes it takes two hours to sink to the bottom, while he lost contact with the submarine after about an hour and forty-five minutes when the communication device was submerged. .

Gallo added: “If they were not there (at the scene of the accident), then it means that something happened in the middle layers of the water, which led to a breakdown in power supply or radio communications.”

The expert believes that the explosion could be “terrifying”, if this scenario is correct, then the bathyscaphe should be located not far from the last place where it signaled to the surface, adding that some fragments can float to the surface, while others sink to the bottom.

On Monday, OceanGate Expeditions confirmed the disappearance of a manned submersible designed to take tourists to the site of the sinking of the Titanic, as it was carrying five people, with whom it lost contact after about an hour and 45 minutes of diving on Sunday.

Reports said the sub had enough air for four days, as the Coast Guard indicated that the air was still working if the device was intact and still working, but would end at 13:30 Moscow time on Thursday.

And the media reported that British billionaire Hamish Harding, French diving veteran Paul-Henri Narjoli and founder of the American Titanic Tours Stockton Rush, as well as Pakistani businessman Shahzada Daoud and his son, could be on board the submarine.
