Expected squad for matches against Al-Ahly and Real Madrid

Attention is drawn to the Prince Moulay Abdallah Stadium in the Moroccan capital of Rabat tonight, Wednesday, as Al Ahli take on Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the Club World Cup.

Real Madrid are suffering from the absence of six of their most prominent players due to injury, namely Karim Benzema, Eder Militao, Thibault Courtois, Ferland Mendy, Eden Hazard and Lucas Vazquez.

And the Spanish newspaper Marca reported that Italian Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti would count on the following squad against Al Ahly:

Goalkeeper: Andrey Lunin.

Defense: Carvajal, Nacho, Alaba and Camavinga.

Midfielders: Choameni, Kroos and Modric.

Attack: Vinicius Junior, Valverde and Rodrigo.

On the other hand, according to the Egyptian media, Al-Ahly coach Swiss Marcel Kohler will enter the match with the following line-up:
Goalkeeper: Mohamed El-Shennawy

Defensive line: Ali Maalul – Mohamed Abdel Moneim – Mahmoud Metwalli – Mohamed Khani.

Midfield: Aliou Diang – Mohamed Magdy Afsha – Amr Al Soleya.

Attack line: Taher Muhammad Taher – Mahmoud Kahraba – Percy Tao.

The winner of the match between Al Ahly and Real Madrid will set the final date with Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia, who qualified yesterday, Tuesday, after a 3-2 win over Brazil’s Flamengo.
