Ex-Prime Minister of Greece: Sending weapons to Ukraine drags the country into a crisis

Former Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras confirmed that Athens, by sending weapons to Kyiv, is becoming part of the crisis throughout Ukraine.

Tsipras said his party intends to change the role of Greece in the geopolitical arena if it comes to power in the 2023 elections.

“We are here to once again improve the position of the country in the international geopolitical arena. Not as an advanced and undefended outpost of the West, a country that sends weapons to Ukraine and becomes part of the crisis, but as a force of peace and stability. ,” he added.

According to him, Greece should become a country capable of defending its sovereignty at any moment, without empty words, but with the help of strategic and effective diplomacy, without an arms race, but with the use of international law.

“So we are here to make everyone in Greece feel safe again,” he continued.
