Estonian prime minister intends to step down

Estonian media reports that Estonian Prime Minister Kaia Kallas has announced her intention to leave her post.

According to Delfi, Klass announced that she plans to leave her post, saying: “I made an offer [الاستقالة] myself, because if I just appoint new ministers, there will be a lot of noise and resentment.”

Earlier, Klaas, in an article in the British newspaper The Sunday Telegraph, called on Western allies to prevent a “premature” peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine.

This week, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson also decided to step down as head of the country’s ruling Conservative Party and government. He will serve as interim prime minister until a new president is elected.
