The Organization of the Crude Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) announced that Iran’s crude oil processing capacity has increased by 400,000 barrels and will exceed 2,200,000 barrels.
This is stated in the annual report published by the OPEC Organization, which deals with oil refining capacities at the world level.
The report indicated that oil refining in Iran in 2021 amounted to two million 202 thousand barrels, which is 1,000 barrels more than in 2020.
