Erdogan’s support has remained consistent since 2014.

It seems that the choice of the Turkish people has not changed for years, despite all the events that their country has gone through, since Recep Tayyip Erdogan has received the most votes in presidential elections since 2014.

In the presidential elections held on August 10, 2014, Erdogan won 51.79% of the vote, ahead of his rival Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, who received only 38.44%.

In the June 24, 2018 elections, Erdoğan won 52.59% of his opponent Muharrem Ince who won 30.64%.

As for the May 14, 2023 elections, despite facing tough rival Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Erdoğan received 49.52% of the Turkish vote compared to his opponent’s 44.48%.

This required a second round on 28 May for Erdogan to prove that the choices and beliefs of the people had not changed as he won a new term that would run until 2028 with a percentage of 52.16% compared to 47.84% for Kılıçdaroğlu.
