Erdogan wants to make Turkey a key country in the food market "Halal"

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan believes that the halal market has gained importance in the global competitive environment due to its reliability, noting that it is no longer needed only by Muslims, but by all consumers.

The statements of the President of Turkey were made in a video message with which he took part in the opening of the “Eighth World Halal Summit” and the exhibition “Halal Expo 9” for the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, in Istanbul, today, Thursday. .

Erdoğan stated in the letter that “Halal market, which has gained importance in the global competitive environment for its clean, healthy and reliable products and services, has become a desirable sector not only for Muslims but for all consumer groups.”

He expressed hope that the summit and the exhibition will contribute to Turkey’s transformation into a key country in the halal economy, the development of its trade and connection to new markets.
