Erdogan reveals demands that Sweden and Finland refused to comply with for Turkey to accept their NATO membership

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has unveiled demands that Sweden and Finland have refused to accept for Turkey to accept their NATO membership, chief among which is the transfer of 130 terrorists to Ankara.

Erdogan said during a youth event organized by the Justice and Development Party in the southwestern province of Muğla that the two countries “didn’t do that.”

He added: “We see PKK demonstrations in the streets of Sweden, which we warn about this, but unfortunately these demonstrations have not stopped.”

He said: “If they do not stop the activities of the PKK, the tension in our relations with Sweden may escalate.”
