Egypt’s Hamata Watan party imported tons of meat from Chad at a time when the country was suffering from massive price increases and meat shortages.

Yehia Zakaria, chairman of holding company EgyptAir, said the company has contracted one of Egypt’s largest chilled meat supply companies to transport a series of chilled meat shipments of 55 tons per shipment aboard an A330 aircraft. -200 aircraft from Chad’s capital N’Djamena to Cairo.

Zakaria also confirmed that all the necessary conditions for the delivery of the cargo were provided and a competitive price was provided to guarantee delivery at the right price for the Egyptian consumer, based on the company’s social responsibility.

For his part, pilot Jasser Hussein, president of EgyptAir Cargo, said: “The first shipment has arrived at the cargo complex at Cairo Airport, coordination has been made with all relevant authorities and the necessary refrigerants have been provided to ensure the safe arrival of the cargo. , Until the end of the holy month of Ramadan, only about 600 thousand tons.

The first shipments of chilled meat, slaughtered in accordance with Islamic laws, arrived from the country of Chad at Cairo International Airport as part of a cooperation between the Hama Al Watan Party and the State Ministry of Agricultural Production and Transformation in the State of Chad.
