Former Arsenal and England football midfielder Jack Wilshere surprised the sporting midfielder on Friday afternoon by announcing his retirement from football at an early age.
Wilshere released an official statement via his social media accounts announcing his retirement from professional acting at the age of 30.
“Today I announce my retirement from professional football after a wonderful journey full of special moments that I have been proud of throughout my career,” Wilshere said in a statement.
Wilshere began his professional career at Arsenal in 2008 and continued with him until his departure to West Ham United in 2018.
The English star then went through a period of confusion due to multiple injuries and a decline after becoming one of his country’s up-and-coming talents as Wilshere represented England in various categories before playing for the first team between 2010 and 2016. . .
Notably, Wilshere has recently had little experience in the Danish league, having joined Aarhus in February last year with a contract until the end of last season.
