Egyptian Prime Minister: Diesel prices have not changed for 30 months

Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said moving fuel prices, according to the Automatic Petroleum Pricing Committee, included an increase in diesel prices for the first time in 30 months.

The Egyptian Prime Minister has made it clear in television statements that the Egyptian government is an integral part of the people and seeks to be present among the masses of citizens.

He added that the government is working to solve unprecedented problems, and all history books will mention these exceptional crises that the whole world is going through.

Yesterday, the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum decided to raise prices for all types of gasoline and diesel fuel based on the recommendation of the Committee for Automatic Pricing of Petroleum Products.

The government raised the prices of all three types of gasoline for 2022 and diesel from Tuesday as follows:

The price of gasoline 80 was fixed at about 8 pounds, after which it was 7.50 pounds per liter.

At the same time, the price of a liter of 92nd gasoline reached 9.25 pounds instead of 8.75 pounds. The price of petrol 95 rose to 10.75 pounds per liter instead of 9.75 pounds. The price of diesel rose to 7.25 pounds from 6.75 pounds.
