Egyptian expert on storming banks in Lebanon: Dangerous indicator of lack of justice

Economist Nur Nada said that the storming of Lebanese banks by depositors, despite the justice of their cause, is one of the most dangerous indicators of the collapse of the Lebanese state, given that Lebanon is entering a cycle of institutional collapse.

In a conversation with RT, he saw that the fall in credit and distrust in the Lebanese banking system is a prelude to the fall of the banking system, and the beginning of the inevitability of an economic, social and political catastrophe that threatens Lebanon completely, stressing that what is happening in Lebanon is not normal, and this will have implications for the economies of all of Lebanon’s partners, in the Arab region and around the world.

He said that the Lebanese crisis is an expression of the crisis of the Arab regional system and its dependence on the global capitalist system, adding: “It seems that the effects of the global economic crisis have begun to affect the Lebanese economy.”

He pointed out that the European countries supporting the Lebanese state are “very busy with its contemporary problems and crises as these countries are suffering from the stagflation crisis that has hit their economies and societies”, noting that these countries do not have the resources and time to help Lebanon. which is suffering, falling apart and prone to fall. The Lebanese crisis is isolated from the crisis of the global capitalist economic system.
