Earthquake hits Turkey’s most famous tourist area

Today, Sunday, an earthquake of magnitude 4.1 occurred in the Kas district of the Turkish city of Antalya, located on the seashore.

According to the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), the quake hit at 11:02 local time with its epicenter off the Mediterranean coast in Antalya.

It was found that the epicenter of the earthquake, which was located at a depth of 31.89 km under water, was 3.85 km from the Kas region in Antalya.
