Today, on Monday, a source in the Jordanian parliament told Khabarni that the salary of Jordanian parliamentarians has been increased by 200 Jordanian dinars (about $282).
The increase came in the form of “transport allowances” to be added to the salaries of the president and members of the Jordanian parliament, the source said.
The source said the salary increase was due to the frequent relocation of deputies from the provinces to the capital Amman after rising fuel prices in recent months, this month and the coming months.
