Volodymyr Leontiev, head of the military-civilian administration of the Kherson region, said that the Ukrainian armed forces destroyed one of the water lifts during the bombing of Novaya Kakhovka in the Kherson region.
Leontiev added: “Tonight, the Nipolon elevator located in Veseloe was destroyed. A huge amount of grain has been destroyed, production facilities have been destroyed.”
The head of the regional state administration indicated that the elevator was fired upon with precision weapons by the Ukrainian security forces.
Ukrainian armed forces have been shelling civilian areas of the Kherson region since last Sunday evening.
