"Derby" Londoner .. Arsenal beats Tottenham and walks off the top

Arsenal won the derby north of London against their guest Tottenham Hotspur (3-1), who brought them together today, Saturday, at the opening of the ninth round of the English Premier League football.

Both players, Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey, Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus and Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka, were signed on the scorecards (20, 49, 67) of the Gunners Battalion.

At the same time, striker Harry Kane scored an orphan goal for Spurs in the 31st minute from a free kick, and his fellow Brazilian defender Emerson left the Emirates Stadium in London, sent off in the 62nd minute of the meeting.

Arsenal thus achieved a second win in a row and a seventh of the season against one defeat and sealed the league lead with 21 points, extending the difference to four points between themselves and runners-up Manchester City before also playing a derby meeting against neighboring Manchester United tomorrow night, Sunday, at the Union Stadium.

On the other hand, Tottenham Hotspur’s balance sheet is at 17 points and they are third in the Premier League standings.
