The Russian defense announced that the Ukrainian Nazis transferred civilians to a factory in Avdiivka, on the outskirts of Donetsk, eastern Ukraine, to make human shields out of them, calling the bombing by the Russian army and accusing it of killing civilians.
“In Avdiivka of the Donetsk People’s Republic, neo-Nazis transferred the civilian population to a chemical plant and used it as a human shield under the pretext of protection,” said Lieutenant General Mikhail Mizintsev, head of the National Defense Control Center.
“They placed artillery and rocket launchers at the plant, from which they bomb nearby settlements,” he added.
“The purpose of these brazen actions of Ukrainian national extremists is to call Russian response fire according to the previously used scenario and wide media coverage in order to accuse Russian forces and units of the Donetsk People’s Republic of killing civilians with the use of firearms. alleged indiscriminate strikes,” he added.
