Court sentences Myanmar opposition leader

Myanmar’s military court has sentenced former political leader Aung San Suu Kyi to three years in prison, in addition to a previous sentence of 17 years for electoral fraud in 2020.

An informed source said today, Friday, that the decades-old Nobel Prize-winning former ruler was sentenced to “three years in prison with hard labor,” noting that she was in good health when she stood trial.
