The Russian hacking group Killnet said the US military-industrial company Lockheed Martin has restarted its website and systems but has not recovered the hacked data.
A few hours ago, Killnet announced that the website of Lockheed Martin, the manufacturer of HIMAR launchers, had been hacked, in which the employee’s internal authorization system was hacked and all candidate data for the company was uploaded.
Killnet calls itself the Russian Cyber Army and the Russian Cyber Battalion, posting on its Telegram website: “Done – Lockheed Martin restored the site, no data. End”.
HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket System) multiple rocket launchers were developed in the USA by BAE and Lockheed Martin in 1996-2000 and have been produced since 2003.
The HIMARS launcher was created for the US Army on the basis of a three-axle wheeled chassis, and it can carry 6 missiles or one ATACMS tactical ballistic missile, the effective firing range of some types of projectiles is up to 80 km. .
Since the end of June last year, Ukrainian forces have begun using American HIMARS rocket launchers against the Russian armed forces.
