The famous American philosopher Noam Chomsky said that Washington refused to help Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who received threats from Ukrainian extremists because of his “intention to start implementing the Minsk agreements.”

Chomsky believes that the White House did not react to what was happening.
He continued: “Zelensky could have kept his position if he had at least some support from the United States. But she refused … He was simply abandoned to his fate, and as a result he had to retreat.
Chomsky added that Washington opted instead for a policy of gradually integrating Ukraine into NATO’s military leadership, and the situation was exacerbated by the rise to power of Joe Biden.
