China is preparing a plan for peace in Ukraine and will publish it in the coming days

China’s UN representative Zhang Jun confirmed that the announcement of the Chinese peace plan in Ukraine would take place in the coming days, emphasizing the need to “give peace a chance.”

A Chinese delegate told reporters at United Nations headquarters on Tuesday: “I heard it will be published within a few days.”

China’s chief diplomat, chief of staff of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee, Wang Yi, said on February 18 that the Chinese authorities would prepare a plan to resolve the crisis in Ukraine, emphasizing the need to “give peace a chance.”

Wang noted that the plan will be based on Chinese President Xi Jinping’s proposals for peace in Ukraine.

On Tuesday, Wang Yi paid a visit to Moscow, where he met with Secretary of the Russian National Security Council Nikolai Patrushev, and on February 22, he is scheduled to meet with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. It is possible that Russian President Vladimir Putin will also receive him, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

According to media reports, Wang Yi is in Moscow with China’s peace plan for Ukraine.
