Zhang Jun, Permanent Representative of the People’s Republic of China to the UN, said Beijing is very concerned about the implications of NATO’s new strategic concept.
“Like all peace-loving countries in the world, China is closely following NATO’s strategic adjustments and is deeply concerned about the political implications of the so-called strategic concept,” Zhang Jun said at a meeting of the UN Security Council.
“Some NATO leaders have recently portrayed other countries as a threat. But the truth is that NATO itself creates problems in different parts of the world,” he added.
