Chelsea are close to signing Russian talent Arsen Zakharyan, Dynamo Moscow midfielder, at this summer’s Mercato.
According to press reports, Chelsea made an offer to the Russian national team for a 19-year-old football player for 15 million euros.

Pavel Andreev, the player’s agent, told RB Sport: “What was reported about the Chelsea offer is true, the agreement is close.”
Zakharyan is considered one of Russia’s brightest young players, having made his Dynamo Moscow debut in November 2020.
Zakharyan became the club’s best player for two seasons in a row and became the champion of the Russian team four times.
Zakharyan plays mainly on the left flank, but is able to play a midfield role as well.
Zakharyan scored nine goals and nine assists last season in 34 games for Dynamo Moscow.
Notably, Chelsea FC have invested £40 million to acquire young players, namely Chukwimica, Cassidy, Hutchinson and Solnina.
