Charles III ascends to the throne of Britain following the reign of his mother, Queen Elizabeth.

The coronation ceremony of Charles III, King of Britain, took place in a solemn ceremony at Westminster Abbey in London, replacing his late mother, Queen Elizabeth.

King Charles took an oath declaring his allegiance to the church and kingdom.
