Channel "CBS" US: Most Western military aid to Ukraine does not reach its final destination

The American channel “CBS” has prepared a new documentary in which it came to the conclusion that most of the military assistance provided by Western countries to Ukraine does not reach its final destination in this country.

The channel indicated in the film, which will be broadcast today, Sunday, and excerpts from it are published on the channel’s website, that “most of these weapons and military supplies destined for Ukraine reach the Polish-Ukrainian border, where the United States and its NATO allies transport them there … thus ending United States supervision of these weapons.

The channel quoted Jonas Ohman, the head of a public organization that delivers military aid to the Ukrainian side, in April last year: “It all crosses the border, then something happens … and only 30% of this aid reaches the final destination.” destination.”

He added: “It is estimated that we are talking about 30 to 40% of this aid.”

He explained that in Ukraine there are influential people, oligarchs, politicians and security officials who “fight for power every day.”

For his part, American mercenary Andy Mirburn, formerly of the US Marine Corps and currently training the Ukrainian military, said that without US control, military aid cannot fully reach its final destination. Speaking of marches, bulletproof vests and other military assistance, he elaborated: “I can confirm that, without a doubt, all this does not reach the military units at the front.”

You also hear comments from Amnesty International’s Donatella Rovera in the film, who collects information on human rights violations in Ukraine. Rovera said that the weapons that Western countries gave to the security services of Iraq and Afghanistan, for example, often fell into the hands of extremists. “In order to prevent this, it is necessary to use oversight mechanisms,” she added.
