Manchester City are back with a massive 4-0 victory at the stadium of their host Sevilla in a match that brought the two teams together today, Tuesday, in Group G of the European Football Champions League.
Norwegian international striker Erling Halland proved to be the star of the match with two goals in the 20th and 67th minutes, while Phil Foden and Portugal’s Robin Diach scored two other goals in the 58th minute (90+2) respectively.
Halland became the fourth player to score in his first match against at least 3 teams in the Champions League, after Spaniard Fernando Morientes (4 teams), Argentinian Javier Saviola and Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic (3 each).
Sevilla’s 20th match was for Haaland in the Champions League and he scored his 25th goal of the tournament.
It should be noted that in the same group (Seventh) tournament, the German Borussia Dortmund had an excellent start to their career with a crushing victory over their Danish guest Copenhagen with a score of 3:0.
